Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound-guided PICC and Midline insertions with precision and care
• Manage vascular access devices and monitor for complications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on catheter care and maintenance
• Document procedures accurately in EMR systems

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of PICC and Midline insertion experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to changing patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in PICC and Midline insertion techniques
• Proficiency in ultrasound guidance and sterile technique
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
