Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment
- Take and develop dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Manage patient records with attention to detail and confidentiality
- Provide a warm, reassuring presence to patients during their orthodontic journey
Qualifications
- Certified or registered Dental Assistant in Maryland (or eligible)
- Experience in orthodontic procedures is a plus
- X-ray certification and radiology experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and orthodontic instruments
- Proficiency with dental software and patient record management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Precise attention to detail in clinical tasks
- A patient-centered approach with empathy and care
