Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Night shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents in a transitional rehab center, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs, and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to maintain comfort and safety
- Support dining and nutrition by assisting with meals and documenting intake and output
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and their families
- Collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure each resident's care plan is followed with dignity and respect
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
- Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine or present a documented religious or medical exemption
- Ability to pass a background check and provide state or federal issued identification
- Previous experience in rehab, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced rehab center
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident rights and HIPAA compliance
- Skills in taking vital signs and observing changes in patient condition
- Understanding of infection control practices
- Ability to lift, transfer, and position patients safely
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable nature
