Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions according to the OT plan of care to help patients regain independence
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain before start)
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Education

• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
