Location: Raleigh, NC

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions according to the OT plan of care to help patients regain independence
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises
- Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to maintain a safe environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain before start)
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Education
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care techniques and therapeutic interventions
- Accurate and timely documentation practices
- Patient and family education strategies
- Collaborative teamwork and communication
- Infection control and safety protocols
