Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, and report any changes to the nursing team
• Help with mobility, transferring, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and staff

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• A heart for caring and a commitment to resident dignity
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift as required in a healthcare setting
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care practices and safety protocols
• Skill in using vital signs equipment and documenting care accurately
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in challenging situations
• Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse resident populations
• Time management skills to handle multiple resident needs
