Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and at-home care routines
• Take and process dental radiographs with precision and care
• Support the dentist during clinical procedures to ensure smooth visits
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for patient care
• Ability to work the 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM shift

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of dental anatomy, radiography, and periodontal disease
• Strong communication and patient-education skills
• Sharp attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting
