Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to patients of all ages
• Document patient health histories and chart conditions of teeth and gums
• Take and process dental X-rays while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
• Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring a sterile environment
• Sterilize dental instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus
• Must be available for flexible per diem shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in dental radiography and X-ray safety protocols
• Excellent patient care and bedside manner
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
