Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and titrate drips including insulin and Cardizem
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients from diagnosis through remission
Float to MedSurg and PCU units while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and safety
Manage ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring equipment with real-time training support

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
First-time travelers welcome
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork and genuine compassion for diverse patient populations
Comfort with chemotherapy administration and oncology care
Ability to manage ventilators, CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, and EV-1000 monitoring
Proficiency with Alaris IV pumps and EPIC EMR
Willingness to float within the same level of care
