Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable start times between 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM, primarily covering 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with on-call requirements 1 night every 6 weeks including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care for post-surgical patients
Monitor and assess patients recovering from ortho, trauma, cardiac, urology, pulmonary, and GI procedures
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient transitions
Respond to on-call needs with a 1-hour response time to support your unit
Float to support other areas as needed while delivering outstanding care
Utilize Epic EMR to document and coordinate patient care efficiently

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PACU, ED, or ICU experience
Epic EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple patients with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Comfortable reading cardiac strips and monitoring ventilated patients
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
