Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and skill
Serve as a reliable resource when charge nurse support is needed
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic while keeping patients at the center of every decision

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Proven experience in Trauma and Neuro within the operating room
Charge nurse experience is a plus but not required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 16-suite OR environment averaging 30 cases daily

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of trauma and neuro surgical procedures
Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
Ability to handle call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float within Zone 1 facilities when needed
