Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with rotating weeknight and weekend call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses to support patient needs
Respond to call within 30 minutes to maintain seamless OR coverage
Adapt quickly to robotics cases using the DaVinci Xi system
Support trauma readiness when on call and maintain composure under pressure

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum 2-3 years of OR experience
Previous travel experience required
Robotics Xi experience strongly preferred
Trauma experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotics cases
Familiarity with Surgical Information Systems (SIS)
Ability to float between two nearby campuses
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility with call schedules and holiday rotations
