Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and telemetry patients on a 32-bed unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs using Phillips telemetry equipment
Administer chemotherapy treatments and manage complex medication regimens
Collaborate with an oncology resource RN and supportive PCT team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Float to other MedSurg/Tele units as needed while maintaining top-notch care standards
Complete skills validations including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Chemo certification is a plus
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Ability to pass a pre-employment dysrhythmia exam
Clean-shaven for men and natural hair color for fit testing compliance

Knowledge & Skills

Strong oncology and telemetry nursing knowledge
Comfortable managing vents such as BiPAP and CPAP
Skilled in sterile technique and central line care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible and adaptable when floating between units
