Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to neuro patients including stroke, TBI, and spinal surgery cases
Titrate critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin to keep patients stable
Interpret EKGs and respond quickly to cardiac changes on a busy telemetry unit
Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team to deliver seamless bedside care
Float to other telemetry units when needed, expanding your skill set every shift
Maintain strict sterile technique during procedures and pass skills validations with confidence

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care nursing experience
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Neuro or telemetry background is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Safe titration of cardiac and insulin drips
Central line care and sterile technique
Cerner EMR documentation
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
