Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across MedSurg Tele and PCU units
Manage titratable drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to patient changes with confidence
Support post-cardiac cath, post-MI, and CABG recovery patients
Collaborate with charge nurses and nursing assistants to deliver excellent care
Float between campuses and units as needed, bringing adaptability and skill

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience
Comfortable managing titratable drips and interpreting dysrhythmias
Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation
Titratable drip management expertise
Flexibility to float between MedSurg Tele and PCU settings
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfort working with geriatric and post-procedural patients
