Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical/telemetry patients
• Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and medical conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
• Document patient progress accurately and timely
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Experience in med-surg or telemetry nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and protocols
• Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
