Location: Kealakekua, Hawaii

Start Date: 07-06-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess patient conditions, and respond to changes promptly
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as ordered
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Document patient care accurately in Point Click EMR
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Hawaii (must be currently active)
Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical and telemetry experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work rotating shifts and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Experience with Point Click EMR
Knowledge of med-surg nursing best practices
Excellent teamwork and patient advocacy skills
