Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments
• Work independently in completing assignments and following physician's orders, standards of care, and nursing policies
• Provide support to individuals of all ages and their families
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive emergency care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications

• Current RN license from any state (AZ license not required)
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within one year of hire
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within one year of hire
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within one year of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within 6 months of hire
• Emergency Severity Index Level 5 within 3 months of hire

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in emergency room procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Comfortable working with diverse patient populations
