Location: Hilo, HI

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), 36 hours per week, schedule varies
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Float between medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units to provide exceptional patient care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult patients with various conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Operate equipment such as wound vacs and chest tubes with confidence
- Utilize Meditech EMR and Pyxis for documentation and medication administration
Qualifications
- Active Hawaii RN license required (must obtain upon offer if not currently held)
- Minimum 2 years of recent med-surg or step-down experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Meditech EMR and Pyxis
- Experience with wound vac and chest tube management
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
