Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit and Emergency Department.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments while monitoring patient responses.
• Act quickly in emergency situations, stabilizing patients and collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, recovery, and health promotion.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Colorado RN license required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required
• Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience
• Experience in Spine/Ortho post-operative care and Med/Surg is essential
• Willingness to work night shifts and holidays
• COVID vaccination required per state mandate
• Adherence to housing guidelines: no pets and no smoking

• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of patient safety and quality standards
• Proficiency with electronic health records
• Calm and adaptable under pressure
