Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to optimize patient recovery and quality of life
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Pennsylvania or compact eligibility
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients with physical activities

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Understanding of patient care documentation and HIPAA compliance
• Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt to patient needs
• Team collaboration and compassionate patient interaction
• Time management and organizational skills
