Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for each patient
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the orthodontist
• Manage patient records and schedule appointments using Denticon software
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, braces care, and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an orthodontic dental assistant is highly valued
• Proficiency with Denticon software is required
• Dental X-ray certification is preferred but not required
• CPR/BLS certification is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and dental terminology
• Skilled in dental practice management software, especially Denticon
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced office
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team
• Attention to detail and stellar organizational habits
• Commitment to providing top-notch patient care
