Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures and treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are sterilized and ready
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and digital scans as needed
• Provide exceptional patient care and comfort throughout their visit
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment details
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
• Support the team with chairside assistance and smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified
• Active Dental Assistant certification or license as required by state regulations
• Prior experience as a dental assistant, especially in orthodontics, is preferred
• A genuine passion for patient care and teamwork

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments, materials, and procedures
• Skilled in chairside assisting and maintaining a sterile environment
• Comfortable taking radiographs and dental impressions
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and team members
• Familiarity with Denticon software is a plus
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced office
