Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including professional cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and prevention strategies to maintain healthy smiles
• Take and develop dental X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Assist in periodontal therapy and apply fluoride or dental sealants as needed
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records while ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong patient care and communication skills with a friendly, reassuring demeanor
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
• Experience is a plus, but we welcome new graduates ready to make a difference

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization standards to ensure patient safety
• Excellent interpersonal and patient education abilities
• Familiarity with electronic dental records (EDR) systems
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for efficient workflow
