Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to patients
• Assess oral health conditions and report findings to the dentist
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
• Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure sterilization of instruments

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene
• Strong communication skills and patient care focus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Understanding of HIPAA patient privacy regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity
