Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and preventive treatments
• Take and review dental x-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and at-home care
• Document patient care accurately and maintain infection control standards
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to deliver exceptional patient experiences

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygiene license in Virginia (or willingness to obtain before start)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Experience with dental charting and digital x-ray systems
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Proficiency with dental software for documentation
• Ability to build rapport with patients and work as part of a team
