Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to keep patients smiling
• Assess patients' oral health and communicate findings to the dental team
• Take dental X-rays and review them for signs of oral disease
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and nutrition for lifelong oral health
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a clean, sterile environment

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong patient care skills and a friendly chairside manner
• Experience in a dental office setting is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene instrumentation and procedures
• Skill in taking and interpreting dental X-rays
• Familiarity with electronic dental records
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
