Roles & Responsibilities

• Review and verify physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Dispense medications and ensure proper labeling and dosing
• Provide medication counseling to patients and caregivers
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor for drug interactions and adverse reactions
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist (RPh) license in Texas
• Previous pharmacy experience in hospital or retail setting preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of pharmacy practice and medication therapy management
• Familiarity with drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing guidelines
• Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and electronic health records
• Understanding of state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
