Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults on the Medical OT-8HR unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient condition, and respond promptly
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate electronic health records

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Previous acute care or med-surg nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work the required evening shift schedule including some weekends
• Comfortable adapting quickly to new environments and workflows

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Solid time management and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
