Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional oral hygiene care, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
• Educate patients on proper oral health techniques and preventive care
• Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and updating dental histories
• Expose and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Collaborate with the dentist to plan and implement patient treatment
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in dental hygiene preferred, but new graduates welcome
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols
• Understanding of dental radiography and safety procedures
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dental team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
