Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Support a smooth workflow by managing supplies and equipment

Qualifications

• Current orthodontic assistant certification required
• Experience working in an orthodontic or dental setting is a plus
• Ability to work evening hours from 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM
• Genuine care for patient comfort and satisfaction
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Comfort with dental software and patient record systems
• Skill in taking and processing dental x-rays
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with patients of all ages
