Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Provide patient care and comfort before, during, and after treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records using practice management software like Denticon
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or formal training in dental assisting
• Experience with orthodontic procedures and equipment
• Knowledge of dental practice management software, preferably Denticon
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic assisting techniques
• Dental radiography (X-ray) skills
• Patient record management
• Knowledge of Denticon software
• Sterilization and infection control protocols
