Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy to keep patients smiling
• Take and develop dental X-rays to support accurate diagnosis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Maintain detailed patient records and update dental charts
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a sterile, safe environment
• Screen patients for oral diseases and communicate findings to the dental team

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
• Ability to work a 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM shift

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Comfort with digital radiography and dental practice software
• Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Ability to educate patients of all ages
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative dental environment
