Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and capturing accurate records
• Take and develop dental X-rays, impressions, and digital scans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care to promote lasting smiles
• Maintain a sterile, organized environment by following strict infection control protocols
• Document patient information and treatment plans in Denticon

Qualifications

• Experience in orthodontic assisting is highly valued
• Dental Assisting certification or on-the-job training in an orthodontic setting
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Familiarity with Denticon practice management software
• Ability to work the 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM shift
