Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based respiratory therapy and diagnostic care to critical and non-critical patients
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients across all age groups with cardiopulmonary conditions
• Operate and manage respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and home management

Qualifications

• Active RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current Oregon Respiratory Care License
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Two years of clinical respiratory care experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of respiratory therapy and cardiopulmonary systems
• Skilled in ventilator management, airway clearance, and oxygen therapy
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Proficient with Point Click EMR and electronic documentation
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and age groups
