Roles & Responsibilities

• Act as charge nurse and coordinate care for residents in a cozy 26-bed Long Term Care facility
• Administer medications accurately and safely, keeping residents comfortable and cared for
• Perform wound care treatments following individualized care plans
• Monitor residents with chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
• Collaborate with the DON and on-call physician to ensure the best outcomes
• Maintain a clean, presentable environment that feels welcoming and professional

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
• BLS Certification (required)
• 2+ years of Long Term Care experience
• Experience with medication administration and wound care
• Comfortable acting as a charge nurse and working independently

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical skills in LTC nursing, including passing meds and wound care
• Ability to thrive in a small, close-knit facility
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families and the care team
• Familiarity with Matrix or MatrixCare EMR is a plus
• Compassionate approach to caring for residents with dementia and chronic illnesses
