Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver expert critical care to trauma and neuro ICU patients in a 30-bed fast-paced unit
• Monitor complex telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage ICP monitors and ventriculostomies
• Titrate vasopressors and sedation to maintain patient stability
• Collaborate with intensivists, RTs, and charge nurses available around the clock
• Float to PCU, CICU, tele, or med-surg units as needed to support the team
• Ace a proctored dysrhythmia test on day one and hit the ground running

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience with trauma and neuro patients
• Proven experience with ICP monitoring and ventriculostomy management
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
