Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth patient experience
• Take and develop dental X-rays and impressions
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain patient records and update treatment plans

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or completion of an accredited dental assistant program
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in orthodontics is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Understanding of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
