Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients across ICU, PCU, ED, and MedSurg units
• Titrate vasoactive, sedation, and paralytic drips with precision and confidence
• Monitor telemetry strips and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Float seamlessly between units, adapting to varying patient acuity and ratios
• Collaborate with charge nurses and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Advocate for your skill set and patient safety when assignments fall outside your comfort zone

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICU nursing experience required
• Active WA or Compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with Swan-Ganz, IABP, and Impella devices
• Ability to float to MedSurg and take a full assignment
• Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and EPIC charting

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing skills including hemodynamic monitoring and drip titration
• Telemetry strip interpretation and rhythm recognition
• Quick adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic float pool environment
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
