Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with patient examinations and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for each patient
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant certification or training (CDA preferred)
• Radiology certification (X-ray license) is a plus
• Previous experience in orthodontic assisting is highly desirable
• BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Denticon) is beneficial
• Ability to work closely with patients of all ages
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
