Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse overseeing daily operations and resident care
Administer medications safely and accurately to ensure resident well-being
Provide skilled wound care to promote healing and comfort
Coordinate with physicians by phone for after-hours needs
Build meaningful relationships with residents living with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required
Prior long-term care experience preferred
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends/holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medication administration and wound care skills
Comfort working independently as charge nurse
Compassionate approach to caring for residents with chronic conditions
Familiarity with Matrix EMR a plus
