Shift Type: Nights, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every third weekend, holidays as needed, floating to MSP/ED

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to laboring mothers and their newborns
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure safety during labor
• Administer and titrate IV medications including magnesium and oxytocin
• Assist with deliveries and provide neonatal resuscitation as needed
• Educate families on postpartum and newborn care
• Collaborate with a close-knit team to ensure the best outcomes
• Float to MSP/ED as needed, providing supportive care and patient sitting

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Experience with fetal monitoring and titrating IV drips
• Comfortable with electronic charting (MEDITECH)
• Ability to pass respiratory fit testing requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in labor and delivery nursing
• Skill in titrating drips like magnesium and oxytocin
• Knowledge of neonatal CPAP/BiPAP/high flow equipment
• Familiarity with OB Trace Vue and MEDITECH systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
