Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to keep smiles bright
• Assess patient oral health and document findings with care
• Educate patients on preventive dental care and oral hygiene practices
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth patient care
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe operatory

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Dental Hygienist license required
• CPR/BLS certification to ensure patient safety
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Comfortable using dental software for charting and records
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with patients
• Attention to detail and dedication to infection control practices
