Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Monitor and document vital signs and health status to ensure resident well-being
• Respond promptly to call lights and prioritize resident safety and comfort
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for residents
• Collaborate with the nursing team to deliver high-quality, personalized care

Qualifications

• Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to safely lift and transfer residents
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
