Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during exams, adjustments, and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and ensure operatories are ready
• Take dental X-rays, impressions, and scans as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Document patient treatment and update dental records accurately
• Provide a comfortable, friendly experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
• X-ray certification is required
• Previous orthodontic assisting experience is a plus
• Compassionate and professional chairside manner
• Ability to work efficiently and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures
• Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Denticon
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Commitment to infection control and safety standards
