Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe environment
• Take and process dental x-rays, capturing high-quality images for accurate diagnoses
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, fostering a positive experience
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts using Denticon software

Qualifications

• Active Orthodontic Certification required
• Dental assisting experience, preferably in orthodontics
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (Denticon preferred)
• Strong patient care skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Understanding of dental infection control and sterilization protocols
• Proficiency in taking dental x-rays with digital radiography
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
