Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and preventive treatments
• Assess patient oral health and collaborate with the dentist on treatment plans
• Capture and evaluate dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Educate and empower patients on oral hygiene practices for lasting smiles
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and comfortable environment with strict infection control
• Build rapport with patients, making each visit a positive experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable using dental software and technology
• Attention to detail and a patient-first approach

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Ability to perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
• Skilled in taking digital radiographs
• Strong patient education and chairside manner
