Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare patients for treatment by taking dental x-rays and making impressions
• Sterilize and organize instruments to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts as needed
• Support the front office team with scheduling and patient communication when required

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
• Previous experience in orthodontics is a plus
• Current CPR certification required
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Familiarity with dental software for patient charting
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
