Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts, every other weekend, holiday per ONA contract, call 2-12 hour shifts every 4 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to L&D, postpartum, and mother-baby patients
Manage obstetrical emergencies including hypertension and hemorrhage
Circulate and/or scrub in OR during cesarean sections
Titrate drips such as Pitocin, Fentanyl, and Labetalol
Interpret EFM strips and provide telemetry monitoring
Collaborate with OB techs, neonatologists, and charge nurses to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon (or ability to obtain emergency license within 90 days of offer)
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience with cesarean sections and OB emergencies
Ability to circulate and/or scrub in OR
Proficiency in EFM interpretation and GE Centricity

Knowledge & Skills

L&D nursing and postpartum care
OB emergency management
Circulate and/or scrub in OR for cesarean sections
Titration of Pitocin, Fentanyl, Labetalol
EFM interpretation with GE Centricity
