Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 10-hour shifts with occasional Saturday coverage 1-2 times per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert pre-operative and post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
Monitor patients recovering from conscious sedation and general anesthesia with precision and compassion
Assist with a wide variety of body IR procedures including chemoembolization, Y-90 treatments, and vascular access
Collaborate with IR techs and physicians in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout pre-op, procedure, and recovery phases

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Level I trauma experience required
Pre-op, PACU, or ICU experience with IR exposure strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for pre and post procedural care
Experience with conscious sedation recovery and general anesthesia patients
Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary radiology team
Comfort managing both outpatient and inpatient populations
