Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and responding quickly
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Support and educate patients and families during challenging health events
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Louisiana or compact state
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification strongly preferred
• Previous ICU or critical care experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

• Critical care nursing principles and best practices
• Patient assessment and continuous monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Adaptability and quick decision-making
